Inktober 2019

India ink on paper, 0.3 waterproof pen, red watercolour

In 2019, I decided to try again at the Inktober Challenge, where artists worldwide spend October drawing with ink—or whatever ink substitutes they have at hand.
I decided to go at it without a prompt list, again, and focused mostly on motives surrounding dreams or sleep. Due to studies I’ve decided not to do the full thing in the end, and have ended at about twelve pieces that I am quite happy with.

Ink drawing of a person standing between a flock of swans mid-flight.

Ink drawing of a girl lying at the edge of the water, soft waves crashing against her.

Ink drawing of a boy riding the back of a mantaray.
